We loved staying at Local in Fremantle! The location was perfect, and the room was spacious and light, giving us a wonderful airy feeling. The staff were pleasant and the amenities provided, such as coffee pods, towels, slippers, and robes, were a nice touch. The hotel had a lot of character, and being in a lovely neighborhood added to the charm. We also enjoyed the convenience of having pubs and bars right downstairs. our second visit to Local was a great experience!

had another great stay in fremantle this weekend and the local really impressed me. the comfortable king bed and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. loved the groovy old pub with delicious food and good wine selection.

My main reason for choosing the Local hotel was its close proximity to the Army Museum of Western Australia. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of facilities and services offered at the hotel. One feature that stood out to me was the PUB TRIVIA night, where incredible people from all over the world showcased their inane ability to retain useful information. I particularly enjoyed the monthly event in the Whiskey Lounge, where guests could relax and engage in informative trivia sessions.

The shared bathroom was a fair distance from the room. The room was noisy until the pub shut at midnight but I did expect that and took earplugs.

i had a great experience here, everything was amazing, the location was handy not far from beach bars and cafe, the pub & restaurant downstairs and the shops. i thoroughly enjoyed downstairs bar.

Excellent staff, particularly good location close to South Freo beaches. Based short walk to a really good pub, beach bars and cafe and cafe.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with fresh bedding. Bathrooms were spacious with good water pressure. Effective air conditioning and convenient location in South Fremantle. Will stay again.

I got great value for my money at The Local Hotel. The room was bright, comfortable, and roomy, with nice extra touches like bath robes and slippers. The location was fantastic, with lots of options for eating nearby. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The coffee machine and mini fridge in the room were pleasant surprises.

Hotel breakfast could use a little improvement, but otherwise, everything was great.

The Local Hotel is a charming boutique pub located in a quaint neighborhood. The hotel's decor is absolutely delightful, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at ease. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail in creating a space that felt both stylish and comfortable.

If I were to ask for one small improvement, it would be to have more assistance available for senior guests. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, I sometimes found it challenging to navigate the hotel's layout on my own.

The location was mind-blowing, close to jaw-dropping eateries. The room was super bright, spacious, and oh-so-comfy. They provided bathrobes, slippers, towels, and even face washers! The bathroom was squeaky clean with amazing water pressure and hot showers. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The coffee machine was a delightful surprise, and the mini fridge came in handy. Plus, the shared bathrooms were immaculate too. Loved it!

Original hardwood floors and beautiful natural light via the floor to ceiling windows make you feel like you're staying in a classy Victorian mansion. The incredible people I met at the pub trivia night had an uncanny ability to retain useless information, making the evening both entertaining and educational. An inclusive, safe, and relaxed environment for meeting new people, it was like a gathering of over 30's who wanted to make lifelong friends. Taking some midweek time for yourself was a breeze with the great amenities offered at this hotel.

Some minor maintenance issues.

The hotel's décor was simply charming, with its warm colors and cozy furniture. It created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the lounge and dining areas, were spacious and well-maintained, allowing plenty of room for socializing and relaxation. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy-to-navigate hallways and elevators available for those who may have mobility concerns.

I wish there were more activities catered specifically to senior guests. While the children working there were lovely and attentive, it would have been nice to have organized events or excursions tailored to the needs and interests of seniors.
